We know that choosing a guide for your fishing charter can be difficult. We also know you might have many questions. Here are some of our most frequently asked questions and answers, if you don’t find the answer you need, please make sure to call Capt. Nate.

Captain Nate has a network of skilled, licensed, and insured captains he can call on to accommodate large group charters. He can take care of everything for you – including scheduling, payments, and pickup locations.

Absolutely! Capt. Nate is a father and loves taking kids fishing!

Can you pick us up at our dock?2020-04-24T05:49:52+00:00

If you are within a reasonable drive (by water) from one of our normal pickup locations and the location of your dock is a reasonable distance from where we will be fishing, we can certainly pick you up at your dock.

We have a few boat ramps that we prefer. We use different ones based on the time of year and based on where the fish have been biting best nearest to your charter date. You can check out possible pickup locations HERE.

What time should we arrive for our charter?2020-04-24T05:46:06+00:00

We will discuss the exact start time of the charter on the phone. But please try to arrive 30 minutes early. It will take a few minutes to get you loaded up. Arriving early will help us start on time.

What should we do if we are running late to our charter?2020-04-24T05:44:22+00:00

Things happen. Just please call the captain as soon as you believe you will be running late. It will be okay. Just let us know.

What should we NOT bring with us on our charter?2020-04-27T20:27:32+00:00

Please do not bring the following…

  • Lots of “stuff” – stick to the “do bring” list please.
  • Large coolers. We have a large cooler on the boat for your snacks and drinks.
  • Dark soled shoes.
  • Boots of any kind.
  • Lounge Chairs.

  • Polarized Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Appropriate footwear like sandals or light soled shoes (please do not wear black soled shoes or boots of any kind)
  • Phone (for pictures and video)

  • Fishing Licenses

  • Cleaned and bagged fish (when of legal size and in season)

Yes. We take a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold a date.

What is your cancellation policy?2020-04-24T05:22:19+00:00

You may cancel your charter anytime up to 7 days before your charter and receive a refund of your deposit. All cancellations by the client within 7 days of your scheduled charter will forfeit the refund. All cancellations by the client within 24 hours may be charged the balance of the charter – at the captain’s discretion. All cancellations due to weather are at the captain’s discretion and if canceled by the captain, you will be refunded all money paid in advance if you cannot reschedule.

All deposits are by credit card only. However, you may pay the balance with cash, credit card, Venmo, and Apple Pay.

We can accommodate up to 6 people per boat, per charter. We can help arrange a day of fishing for larger parties: Please contact the Captain to start planning.

Do we need to buy a fishing license?2020-04-24T05:27:21+00:00

No. We have a charter fishing license that covers everyone on the boat that fishes with us on a charter.

Yes. We have all the necessary licenses and insurance to make sure we are legal and that you are protected.
